Description:

Emma is a qualified counsellor and Korean interpreter. With over 3 years’ counselling experience, as well as 18 years’ experience as a mental health interpreter, she is fueled by passion to be on the front lines of human interaction, personal crisis, and positive mental health advancement. 

Emma has worked a registered counsellor with Victim Crime Program and also provides individual counselling in utilising solution-strength focused approach and cognitive mindfulness based strategies to build empowerment and resilience.

Emma facilitates particularly new immigrants, frequently in culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD), and helps them do the emotional lifting, that over time builds internal strength which flows into self-empowerment, which in turn enables and motivates clients to overcome the feelings and realities of disadvantage, exclusion and social isolation. 

Emma personal style brings to her clients a calm, gentle, kind, purposeful and supportive framework, engaging clients with empathy we build together trusted relationships, to dig below the surface to find the believable and practical solutions they are looking for, along with safety and re-engagement in self confidence that transforms negative views, into positive life outcomes in everyday life.
